Ohio Senate Concurs on SB 83 Changes Made in House

Today the Ohio Senate voted 32-1 to accept changes made in the Ohio House of Representatives to Amended Substitute Senate Bill 83.

Senator Oelslager asked his fellow senators to concur on changes made in the house which included additions to the list of sites in which an Advanced Practice Nurse may prescribe schedule II medications, subject to the APN formulary, without the limitations in Ohio law today.

Sub. Senate Bill 83 passed overwhelmingly 91-3 out of the Ohio House of Representatives today!

State Representative Barbara Boyd (D-Cleveland) delivered a floor speech explaining changes made in the Ohio House Health and Aging Committee to add sites to the list of locations in which an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) may prescribe schedule II medications.
