Administration Seeks Controlling Board Approval For Medicaid Expansion

As expected, the Kasich Administration will turn to the Controlling Board later this month to approve funding to expand Ohio’s Medicaid system up to 138% of the federal poverty level.

COHCA Announces Opiate Prescribing Resource Website Launched

The appropriate treatment of pain is a priority in Ohio.

The Governor’s Cabinet Opiate Action Team (GCOAT), the state regulatory boards, COHCA and other associations, individual providers and other key stakeholders have focused their most recent efforts on educating health care professionals and patients.  The goal of this educational effort is to help reduce and eliminate the misuse and abuse of opioid drugs.
